Women In Theatre (WIT) has placed Lainie Kazan at the top of its list of awardees for its sixth annual Red Carpet Awards held in conjunction with National Arts and Humanities Month. Actress Renee Taylor, who has performed with Kazan on numerous occasion both onscreen and onstage, will present the award to Kazan.
Honored for their extensive support and involvement in live theatrical arts, awardees are selected through a nomination process open to the community. Additional awardees will include

The Red Carpet Awards will also honor The Colony Theatre, Theatre 40, and Towne Street Theatre and will feature program entertainers Natalie Jacob, Dennis Ostroski and Lady Palmer in addition to award presenters Cate Caplin, Gai Jones, Terence MacFarland, Evelyn Rudie, and Shelia Scott-Wilkinson.
