Gioia and Borda at the Hammer

UCLA’s Armand Hammer Museum will present Dana Gioia, former chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts and award-winning poet and critic, with president and chief executive office of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Deborah Borda in Hammer Conversations: Dana Gioia and Deborah Borda on Wednesday Oct. 7.

In addition to presenting their respective views on the arts in a climate of shifting priorities and resources, Gioia and Borda will also discuss the next generation in regards to arts learning in and out of the classroom as well as culture progression in America.

The event will take place on Wednesday Oct. 7 at 7pm at the Hammer Museum located at 10899 Wilshire Boulevard at Westwood Boulevard. Admission is free and parking is $3 for three hours with validation.
