The Getty Perspectives lecture series will present award-winning filmmaker Errol Morris along with author and historian Ricky Jay in Errol Morris and Ricky Jay on Art and Perception at the Getty Center on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 7:00pm in the Harold M. Williams Auditorium.

Issues for discussion will include one’s ability to distinguish reality from illusion, forgery from masterpiece, and the art of self-deception involved. Morris and Jay will consider these issues in a wide-ranging context with regards to art and perception in attempts to explore how much one really knows about art and him/herself.
