LA STAGE contributing writer Deborah Behrens won the 2009 Maggie Award for Best Interview or Profile/Trade for her January/February 2008 cover story on Joan Rivers at the Western Publishing Association’s (WPA) 58th annual Maggie Awards banquet held Friday night at the Westin Hotel. The Maggies honor the best in magazine publishing in the western United States during the past year and are considered one of the most prestigious awards in the industry.
